We went for the ultrasound today and found out the sex of the baby! Last time we couldn t be sure, but this time it was very obvious that it was a girl!! [:D] [:D] After three boys, this sure will be different! The tech said she was 99.9% sure, and saw for ourselves that it was pretty clear! Ya-hoo or yikes?? [;)]

Both. You don t know what you ve gotten yourselves into, but that s what makes it an adventure.
It will be important for the three younger guys to be taught to look out for their little sister. Lee won t need to be taught, father s know instinctively how to protect their little girls.[;)]
Hope all continues to go well.

Acts 2:38 girl
Congratulations! After two boys, our youngest was a daughter, and she is the apple of her daddy s eye and I can t imagine our family now without her! Lucky you!
Acts 2:38 girlCongratulations! That is awsum news. All the rules change now! It was the other way around in my Family growing up My Mom and Dad had 2 girls and just kind of figured I was going to be a girl too. But " SURPRISE" I was a boy. My Dad always said I was the most expensive kid on the earth. Because, I was a boy he had to buy a different house. Needed an extra bedroom!
I wish you all the best!
Acts 2:38 girlYahoo!!! [:D]
That is wonderful!!! Congratulations!

Acts 2:38 girlCongratulations!!! We have three DD s so females rule.
Even though it is 4 to 2 females will still rule(hormones make up the difference when she gets older[;)][:D][:D][:D])
You will love it and she will be the apple of everyone s eye but the youngest, who might try to protect his " being the youngest" turf.
Wish you all the best.
Acts 2:38 girlGreat news Andrea,
My mother had 6 boys before she finally had a girl!
Life is going to change big time for you guys.
A girl is special.
She ll need all new clothes, no cast-off s from the boys.
Same for toys, no cars, power rangers for her.
Congratulations to you and Lee
Acts 2:38 girlCongratulations! boy oh boy your little girl is gonna have her big brothers wrapped around her finger!!! Not to mention mommy and daddy too![:)] ( I was the little pink bundle of joy after 4 brothers...so I know of what I speak![;)] )
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats!!!!! I don t know if it s a Ya-hoo or Yikes, I m kind of scared of having a girl, but then I walk through the baby clothes and want this baby to be one [:D]
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats!
We have one of each and the jury is still out on yikes and yahoo- as far as raising them goes!! [:D] I guess it s a little of both and LOTS of both!!! [:D]

Congratulations!

Quote, but this time it was very obvious that it was a girl!!
I know that you and your family are very happy. Congratulations
What is the heart rate? I wanted to know.
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats, nothing like having having both a girl and a boy in the house, so much fun [:D][:D][:D]
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats!!!
99.9 percent is a pretty sure bet but.... 12 years ago our MD told us that we probably were having a boy and out came Heather, not Scott! What a shock! She went home in blue clothes and had a blue room for a long time. We re still so glad that we had a girl, I guess God gives you what he thinks you can handle. Of course she s Daddy s little girl and has him wrapped around her little finger but we wouldn t have it any other way.
Best wishes,
Tena
Acts 2:38 girlCongratulations on having a girl. Did you ever pick a name?
Acts 2:38 girl[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
Oh yea!! Daddy is quite happy!!
Acts 2:38 girlYour boys will spoil her rotten! My DH would not trade his two girls for the world.
As for not playing with cars and such -- my older daughter plays with EVERYTHING from Barbies to rescue heroes (daddy is a ff/emt) to Transformers (the ugly beast ones) -- not to mention cars and trucks. [;)] Your daughter will gravitate towards all the toys your boys play with, so hopefully, you won t have to invest too heavily in dolls! [8D]
Since I ve never had a boy, I can t tell you how this will change your family, but all the pink clothes will certainly be different in the laundry! Even if you say you won t drown her in pink, I GUARANTEE you will, because EVERY girl outfit you see in the store is just so darn cute and there are 3 times more girl clothes than boy clothes!! Then, there is the investment in shoes! LOL! I guarantee that your daughter will end up with more shoes than your boys! (OK, maybe I m just a shoe freak) [:D]
Congratulations!!! We wish you all the best!!
Acts 2:38 girlGee.. I would expect 3X more boy clothes than girl clothes... (Heck, the boys out number girls by 3...) Wowh,... [:o] Do you mean 9x more girl clothes than boy clothes???[&:]
I don t care.. I have my baby girl!! [:D]

Lee, you remember that term...spare cash aka spare change?
Forget it. For every dollar we ve spent on DS, we ve spent 3-4 on each of the DD s. If you thought boys were expensive, wait till you see what girls cost.
The worst part is, it s almost all in the nickle & dime category. They boys might ask and beg and plead for a $50 wizzbang, girls will hit you for $1-2 at a time...300 times.
Austin (they ve got us, and there s nuthin we can do about it)
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats on knowing!
Congrats on it being a Girl![:D]
Acts 2:38 girlGatsmommy, I know just what you mean about being nervous! I am a lot more nervous at the thought of a daughter. My boys are laid back and not to whiney. I feel like I m a good " boy" -mommy. Little unsure about the girl thing!
QuoteWhat is the heart rate? I wanted to know
You know, I asked last month, because my boys were ALWAYS right around 140/bpm, highest was 160. So even though we never found out the sex with the other three, I was pretty confident. When I asked this time, the tech said that they don t worry about the heart rate when they can see it beating just fine on the ultrasound (all 4 chambers, etc) I was bummed, but figured it was a girl anyway! Everytime I ve gone in they ve given me an ultrasound for one reason or another, but I think this was the final one!
QuoteCongratulations on having a girl. Did you ever pick a name?
Noooo! Now I really can t think of anything! I have plenty of boys names picked out, but just can t find anything for a girl.
Thanks for all the congrats.. it s really nice to know, although I will really miss the surprise at the end. Nurses and Dr. s always like it more when it s a surprise too! They usually stick around even after thier shift is over or show up the next day to find out! Plus it gives me that much more incentive to PUSH!!! I guess I can console myself knowing that it sure will be good to see her!
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats! How exciting! I bet the boys will love having a little sister! And they aren t that bad. I have 2 DD and 1 DGD and I wouldn t trade them for the world! Never had a son but now I have a stepson who s like a big overgrown 24 yr old who plays with big trucks and a step GS who is cute as a button.
My GD can be a little tom-boy but then she loves to wear dress up clothes and lots of pink. Her mom played sports and I imagine she will to. She does love her Barbie dolls though!
Best part is you know she s going to be a " camper" !

Yeah! A big club and a bigger gun works well (at least for a while)![;)]
Acts 2:38 girlHey you her boy s mommy,
You just wait till boys start making your daughters friends ask your 10 year old daughter whether she likes them or not [;)][;)][;)][;)]
Bad Birol
Acts 2:38 girlCongrads...... You will have some good and bad with the girl and boy sibling situation. With only boys or only girls you would miss out on:
" .... I need some privacy...."
" Who colored the wall with my lipstick?..."
" Why do girls take so long in the bathroom?....."
" Ewwwwwwwwwwwww, does she really like boys?....:"
" Ewwwwwwwwwwwww, does he really like girls?......"
" That s stupid" (To any argument for the other gender)
Why does he/she get everything?"
.... and the list goes on and on and on.......
It is really great having both boys and girls. I think it streches our parenting skills sometimes, but I have never regretted any of it at all. Each child, boy or girl, is a unique person and you must do your best to raise them that way IMHO....... You will certainly be blessed with another unique person. Congrads again...

Ohhhh noo... VERY bad birol!! [;)] I don t even want to think about THAT!!
Acts 2:38 girlYou did not hear the best part; you should have seen how my daughter s eyes were bright and proud and how much she was enjoying it when she told us the story.
My first reaction was, let me get that shotgun [8D]
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats to a little princess coming to your family.....start saving for the wedding now!!!!!
Acts 2:38 girlWhat we gotta pay for the wedding ? Is it our responsibility ?
Acts 2:38 girlIt s yippee and yahoo ( and a little yikes, too).
Actually we waited to find out about our DD - DS had predicted a girl but I still expected another DS. Wasn t sure what I d do if I had a girl who liked dresses and dolls (I was and still am kinda tomboyish myself).
But we had our DD( 99) and she loves her dolls and dresses, and I am loving having a girl along with DS. Different kind of bond going and I gotta admit I love that she loves dresses and dolls.
I know you and firefyter-emt don t need to be told, but enjoy her, and your sons! And enjoy preparing for her arrival!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! QuoteWhat we gotta pay for the wedding ? Is it our responsibility ? (Birol)
At least there isn t a dowery system as well![;)]

Hey, where I come from, (unfortunately still true in some areas), DD s family gets the dowry [8D][&:][:@][;)][:D][:)][: (]
Acts 2:38 girlCongrats on the addition of a girl into the mix. When we found out Danny was a boy after having the 2 girls although extremely excited I was a little nervous because all I knew was girls. It s been a month with having my little guy here now and with the exception af his " outdoor plumbing" it s pretty much the same. Your little girl is going to be so lucky to have all the guys in the family looking out for her. If it s any consolation I think it s harder to change a boy than a girl, plus you won t have to duck if she gets cold!
Acts 2:38 girlUh, what s the cost of a wedding in 2021?[:D][:D][:D][;)][;)][;)]
