tlhdocKnow what you mean, Tracy! [&:]

We leave in four days for our first trip out and I have a stomach bug or something.  At least, the popup is at the dealer get spring maintenance done so I don t have to worry about it (I am also getting a second propane tank put on so we camp longer this fall!).  And it is packed with all but our clothes and food.

tlhdocOh Tracy, hope he s feeling better soon (esp. since we expect to see you in a few days). Jason was in bed most of yesterday too in pretty tough shape, but his was neuro stuff (pain, nausea, photophobia) and as things often go (luckily), today he s up and feeling fine. My 16yo just told me she has Thurs off because the HS hasn t used all their snow days. Somehow I m not convinced (seems too implausible) so will have to check it out - but if it s true, and she isn t just plotting to skip school, we ll be heading down to Assateague earlier than planned. Am off to popup and get it cleaned up, beds made, repacked (gotta find all the stuff we took out). Still have to dewinterize (anitfreeze & stuff). The boys just came in from " doin stuff"  and are heading to the Y before Kelsey s soccer game so I have a feeling the dewinterizing won t get done today. Seems I m the only one around this house itching to get this camping season going. What s wrong with them?

 tlhdocTracy,

I hope that Jon is feeling better soon too!  Poor kid.  Are you leaving Wednesday?  You are so lucky.  We will be leaving Thursday early afternoon due to unforseen circumstances.  I will tell you about it later.  Long story.  My camper is up and getting ready for the trip.  I used Plexus on the windows and they look so good.  Right now I am a bit overwhelmed with all that I have to do, getting the camper ready, house cleaned somewhat, sister is coming, food planning and shopping, kids and lessons taken care of.  It just goes on and on.  DH is in the garden and tracking in alot of dirt.  It never stops.  Oh well, we are going camping!  Can t wait.

 tlhdocBeckie,
I feel a bit overwhelmed myself. Last year we went to VA over spring break but I don t remember feeling " rushed"  to get everything done. Perhaps the weather was more cooperative (not raining) and I had more time to get things ready. It s going to be a couple of crazy days around here trying to get organized. Beckie, were your windows really bad? I ordered the Plexus but haven t tried it yet. Not sure if I will before we go.

 Tracy,
Jason just told me his stomach really hurts (oh no!). One of the girls on Kelsey s soccer team sat out the entire game because her stomach hurt so much. Hope this doesn t mean trouble s coming... Looks like we won t be able to join you guys at Outback for Easter dinner. Called today and they use Latex gloves so Jason wouldn t be able to eat there because of his allergy. We may search around for another restaurant or cook ourselves. The weather forecast doesn t look too promising [:(] but better than here in NJ. Sure hope we get to see a pretty sunset.

tlhdocWell DS has progressed in his illness.  He now has the following problems; diarrhea, headache and fever.  He is really sick because he didn t even want to play any video games.  He is supposed to start outdoor ed tomorrow, but he is not going to school.  He missed his last water session in the scuba class he is taking, the district derby car race and selling his swing set.  Not a good day.

Di if you find another place to eat out we may go there with you.

tlhdocWe didn t take him to the doctor.  They said it is a bug going around and he got it.  Just keep him drinking and he should be OK.

 tlhdocTracy,
Sorry to hear your son is sick. It is tough to see them not feeling well but kids usually bounce back pretty quickly. Does he have a fever? Just sipping clear liquids all day a little at a time will help....preferably , flat ginger ale, coke, broth, etc. Rest. Good Luck....

tlhdocHello my camping buddies...  I am sorry to hear some of the " Mini-Me"  COTOCians are not feeling well.  I hope as this is written (typed[8D]) that everyone s doing better.

What s this about a trip???  I feel so left out.[:(]  I wish we knew about it.  Both Stephie & I have been going nuts with our jobs, and I haven t really been here at PUT to keep up with everyone.  If any more trips are planned, can someone please drop us an email to tell us??  Thanks and see you in a few at North Lake!

tlhdocI want to thank everyone for their well wishes.  We went on the trip, after a visit to the doctor that told us to go ahead and go.  He didn t totally get over it until the 24th.  We came home from camping on Monday and DH had started with the bug on Sunday.  I am using a lot of Lysol spray.

Rick sorry you didn t know.[&:]  I thought you did.
