Title: Prodigy Brake Controller
Post by: Turn Key on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
Since we re getting the new TV this week, we ve decide to get a new brake controller rather then try to move the old one.  I ve never heard a word against the Prodigy controller and figure I d go ahead and get one and have it put in.  Here is your opportunity to tell me if I SHOULD NOT do this or if there is any thing I should look out for.  As said, I ve heard nothing but praise for this unit.  Would like to know if there is a " dark side"  before I sink $100+ into this.

 Thanks for the help.

Turn KeyYup, there IS a down side: you will forever curse the day you bought your previous controller, if it was a time-based unit. [:D]

On the other hand, if you plan to sell your old tow rig, pull your old time based controller out and keep it handy. It makes a great paper weight. [;)]

 Turn KeyNo down side here.

At the Malibu RV Rally, I went to help one of the people back into their spot.  I told them to pull forward a bit. They did then hit the brake.  The PU jumped as the tires skid.  Been there/done that with my DrawTite if I forgot to adjust the settings.

No such need with the Prodigy.  I think you ll love it.
