Well the left post holder on our awning has broken, right at the top where it is pop rivited to the awning. the piece that broke is the piece that swivels so you can tuck the post up when rolling, hate to have to get a whole new awning , but have been looking and looking for this piece and cant find it any where, not even ebay!! the awning is fine just the dump post holder thingy, the metal just snapped...any suggestions as we have a trip planned for the end of the month.... ?????[:(]
jpreiserI would suspect the dealer could order you a part. I just ordered a new pole for our Bayside that snapped in the wind.
jpreiserour dealer was so wacked he could not order a soda and get the right one.... But I have found some places on line that can hopefully help me out...
jpreiserI don t know if this will help....but the samething happened to my awning post. My sister was putting it up as a surprise to me so they had to fix it before I got to the campground. The man put two separte screws and one of them he had to trim because it wouldn t go back in the slot when you had to store the poles. Its been working fine and the other one is starting to go because it fell during a storm. My non-camping husband is suppose to fix it for me.
