Title: Cabinet ding
Post by: George on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
During it s first voyage the cabinet inside the door on my PU suffered a minor ding.  Nothing serious - just tore the " genuine simulated woodgrain"  paper on the front of the cabinet and bit of the MDF under it.  I want to stabilize it so it doesn t get worse.

Any suggestions?  I was going to dabble a bit of thinned wood glue around it and put a clamp on it.

My thought even as I read the message.

GeorgeYes, Go to Home Depot and get some furnture wax sticks. Don t know the correct name but you can buy them and match the color of the cabinet and fill it in.
