We had my parents staying with us for the last 3 weeks, on an air mattress in the office (I know, I offered them the PU, but they didn t want it[;)]) so I couldn t get to the computer to check oth the new board. I barely had enough time to check email.
But I suppose I should get use to it, since we re expecting a new arrival in Sept, and the room will have to become a nursery, Hmmm where to put the computer now. Anyway, I made it, and I m glad to see so many familiar faces around. Just wanted to say HI, Hmmm now for figuring out how to add my sig back in.

GatsmommyAaahh...a sewing room....what a luxurious thought. I m looking forward (not in a bad way) to when my soon-to-be-17 year old will move out (it s not for at least another year, he s only a junior in HS) and I can turn his room into a sewing room. Right now, all my fabric and quilting and sewing stuff is spread out all over the house, especially the dining room![:o] I love looking at the Koala sewing cabinets brochure and just dreaming of the day....
PS your parents passed on the PU? silly silly silly [;)] and congrats on the new bun in the oven!
GatsmommyBeth you should have moved into the popup. I love my parents also but. And it s a big one. If my parents came to visit that long i would have been ready for the camper myself. Or you could put the computer in the camper.
GatsmommyWhen I went off to college...I think my mom waited a whole week before she turned my room into a storage room. Threw out all my comics (which I had preserved since I started collecting when I was 10ish) and other things she thought was garbage (including some clothes), cause " I didn t take them with me" . Mind you..I still needed somewhere to stay when it was summer vacation and breaks. I was the last one to leave...so she was a little anxious to be kidless.
GatsmommyMy parents were here for the week of New Years. We spent the week in the PU and put them in our room. I think we got the best end of the deal, great week!
