ZooeyBEAUTIFUL pictures Wendy! The Shenandoah ones are my favorite but only because the Shenandoah s are like home to me. DH and I spend so much time there.   We live about an hour and a half away, but spend as much time there are we can.  Just from  your pics, it looks like you stayed at Big Meadows Campground. I ve spent many nights there. The long distance hiker hut you had in the pics...looks like the Rock Springs hut....did you happen to walk further down from there and see the PATC Rock Spring Cabin??? DH and I stayed there for 8 days one time. We ve stayed in several other of the primative cabins and loved it.

Really nice job on the website.  I need to learn how to do this!

ZooeyNice pictures, If you can live without electric you might want to consider trying Beaver Meadows Campground near Marienville, it s close enough to Cook Forest to go canoeing and do the other things you mentioned while you are at Clear Creek.  Beaver Meadows is rarely full, only on holiday weekends.  Sites large and it s less populated that Clear Creek.  We love it!
