I just bought a 1998 Ford F-150 with the tow package as a TV. I have a Prodigy brake controller. I ve located the brake controller connector in the truck. My question is where can I get the male side of this connector? Dealer?
Pick 6Got my Prodigy and custom harness from RJay s Performance Center. Very happy with price and service. Have a site and toll free phone number:

Hope this helps and tell them the guy who placed order invoice #4009, dated 5/2/2003 sent you (I never put my real name on the WEB and they would have no idea who " Turn Key" is).
Pick 6Randy,
you should be able buy one at the dealer, and then splice it together or try www.brakecontroller.com you can buy a ready made cable that makes the Prodigy plug-n-play[:D]

Pick 6I bought the Ford/Tekonsha cable from my dealer. Just plug it in on both ends.
Pick 6Thanks, Aaron.
That s exactly what I wanted.
I just ordered the wiring harness.
You gotta love the results on this board. One day and the problem is solved.
Pick 6Randy,
Forgot to tell you to order a spare pocket[:@] Then you will be able to switch the controller back and forth between vehicles if you want. As you can see both of my TV s are F-150 s[:D] The white one is my work truck, quite often I will pull the camper to work with me then bolt for the lake on a Friday. The 97 has a V-6 with factory tow and 203,000 miles on it. The 03 is my wife s truck, Red, Plus Cab, Lariat with 4.6 V-8 and factory tow.[:D]
