Could anyone recommend a campgroup near New Orleans that is still in the countryside with nice facilities.
Planning to go late july

sarasotamikeFairview Riverside State Park across the lake from the city is super nice! We go down and stay there in Nov each year. Look up LA state parks on the web.

sarasotamikeBayou Segnette State Park I think would be your best option. It s on the Westbank of the Mississippi River in the city of Westwego on Highway 90. Less than 30 minutes to Downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter.
