from a comment on another thread, whitestar got me to thinkin`.........wouldn`t it be just soooo cool if- now picture this.......you`re all stressed out, say, at work, or for people like me, up to your neck in laundry and the twins are screamin` over that same yellow block for like the millionth time. dang phone rings, no- i don`t care if you`re gonna be in my neighborhood givin` free estimates, ahhhhhh just another cup of coffee would be nice, but heck no, you didn`t get the pot *just so* under the machine so now all that wonderful go juice is all over the counter and running down the cabinets!!! but wait, [&:] DING!!!!!! an idea!!!!![:D] wouldn`t it be awesome if you could get a live web cam from your favorite campsite??? picture it, ok, so i know it will be a live shot from site # 197 at where else? coon creek. oooops, there goes a squirrel, look he`s chasin` another one! boy, isn`t the lake peaceful? not a person in site, sooo quiet. even with an inch of snow, it looks like heaven. ahhhhhh [:D] now wouldn`t that just be great, in the middle of winter, when we are all going nuts from camping dt`s, to be able to get a live shot from your favorite cg site [:D][:D][:D]

(gotta remember to get more minnows at the bait shop, those crappie were really hitting yesterday...........) [:D]

cooncreekersMy wallpaper on my computer is a picture of my seasonal site. All I have to do is look at that picture and I am instantly relaxed. I don t know if I would want a web cam of my site right now with all the snow on top of my trailer and knowing that I couldn t get over there to get it all of it. It is nice to dream though, isn t it.

cooncreekersSounds like a great marketing tool for a campground. Imagine if a campground had one campsite or more " on view" continuously - like the yule log. Sure would make me want to camp there. Campgrounds are you listening? They could even tape during the slow season and run that short tape during the busy months when they can t tie up a campsite. I wouldn t mind the replay. Always hate those little photos they show that don t look anything like the campsite/campground when you show up. Would definitely prefer a real look around.

cooncreekersNot to rub it in but we were just camping at a beach very similar to Cadeuses wallpaper last weekend. Our campsite was right on the beach, sparkling ocean and waves crashing...we had a blazin campfire and obligatory s mores. The night sky was gorgeous with a half moon and plenty of stars. Temps were about 70 as the high and about 50 low. We saw dolphins swimming by and collected tons of shells. Went to Santa Barbara on Sunday afternoon for fishing off the pier and walking the dog at the art show. All this and just 1 hour and 15 minutes from home. There are some benefits to living in southern California!
