Thanks to all who responded to my thread a couple months ago about what I should look at in a new TV. Just this week DW and I purchased a 2003 Kia Sedona EX and we are quite thrilled. We re taking it out this weekend for its maiden (towing) voyage and I can t wait to see how it performs. If all goes well we ll be taking the Jayco with us to visit DW s family in Minnesota in two weeks.
Thanks again for your suggestions. I would not have known about the Kia s towing capacity and affordability except for the poster who responded with their experience. [:D]
biffThat s great news and it is a good looking vehicle, too. Enjoy![:)][:)][:)]
biffCongrats on the new TV[:)] Don t get smores on the seats this weekend!!!
biffCongratulations!
Now in all this excitement, please don t forget to read the manual,
specifically what it says in regard to towing,
and not towing anything for the first 500 miles[:o]
I know we had to wait a few weeks before we could go on our maiden towing voyage[:(]
biffWe had to do the 500 mile thing also. We purchased a 2003 GMC Senoma 4 door,4X4 with the sport /tow package. We did a lot of driving the first week or so to get the 500 miles in.[:D]
biffCongrats on the purchase. [:)] I have been looking for a vehicle for me. We have a tow vehicle and it is " sweet" and gets better gas mileage than our former one. But now I need to trade in the old 90" Astro. I want an SUV for sure. I do not want a car or mini van at this point. but its fun to shop[8D]
Hope your voyages are fun and safe!
6QuigsWe actually purchased a model that belonged to a Kia rep for the dealer. So the the vehicle already has about 5,000 miles. Still got the great warranty as though we had purchased it new plus a discount and its already broken in.
biffCongratulations on the new TV. Have a great time camping.
