While channel surfing last night....I landed on the TV classics channel, which had the Brady BUnch on. It was the episode where they went to the west to an old ghost town and got locked up by prospector looking fellow. He stole the car (station wagon) with guess what in tow...a PU (and it was fully open and hooked up to the car when he drove away). The bunkends looked to be about only full size. 9 in that thing...now that s togetherness.
rednekrubbrduckThis episode has been talked about before, but the thought of putting 9 in a pop-up...that strikes me as a new thought.
The unanswered question has always been...what brand/model pop-up was it?
Austin
rednekrubbrduckMaybe a Skamper? I feel for poor Alice. Some vacation. I bet she still had to cook, and clean up for all of them. I didn t see no " servants pop-up" either. At least in Hawaii they were in a hotel.
rednekrubbrduckThey also had two Army-type tents, so I m assuming the kids slept in those, and Mike and Carol and Alice slept in the pop-up.
Carol wouldn t want to mess up her hair by sleeping on the ground.[:o]
BTW-I didn t see any support arms under the bunks? The way the prospector(played by Jim Backus, Mr Howell on " Gilligan s Island" ) tore out of there, I thought they d come sliding out.[;)]
rednekrubbrduckI saw it to, made me chuckle! [:D]
