Hi gang. Things sure have been hopping up my way the last little while and as a result, I?ve had to neglect some of the sites I really like to visit including my own site. Once when I was talking with another PUT member, we agreed that we both were like Eyore; a little black cloud seemed to follow us around. Well, 2003 has been a year of change for me and so far it?s all been for the good.
The deal on our house purchase and sale is firm, all conditions were waived yesterday. It?s pretty exciting. We managed to get both closing dates on August 27th, wow, I only have 25 days to pack up my house. We were able to realize some equity in the house we sold and the couple?s whose house we bought are moving to a small condo so they will be leaving pool table, 52? TV, bar, bar stoles and bar fridge, snow blower and lawn mower. Brian is definitely a happy camper. Oh yeah, that?s the best part, our trailer will easily fit on our new driveway.
There is more good news, my career. I?ve been on something called a secondement for quite some time, it basically means I was on loan from one area (registration) to another (investigations). Even though I was acting as an Investigator for over 2 years, it was theoretically a temporary position. Well, they recently received funding to hire a new Investigator and I won the competition; I?m now a full member of the team! I?ve been striving to become an Investigator for a long time, it feels great!
I?m not use to having so many positive things happen in my life. Once we are all moved in, I want to update my website then work at becoming an Accountant, I?d like to one day become a forensic accountant. Thanks for listening.

No, someone who follows the paper trail of bad guys. Like shell accounts, juiceing, laundering, that sort of stuff.
fivegonefishingTammy glad to hear of all the good stuff for a change [;)]
Congrats again on the new home and job.
Stick with your goals there is nothing like doing the job you like and being paid for it!!
luvourjaycoTammy Congratulations !!!
fivegonefishingCongratulations.
I guess a forensic accountant would be something like what Leonardo was doing at the end of the movie where he was an identity thief?
Larry (who rarely watches movies, and can t remember the titles of the few he does watch)
fivegonefishingAs we get older we find that the challenges of the job market get tougher! DH and I both know first hand, how important job security and doing somthing you want to do means. ....and a new house to boot!!!!!![:D]
Best of luck!!!
fivegonefishingCongratulations, Tammy, it sounds like you were really due all that good stuff. Let s hope it keeps on happening for a long while.
