I always get confused when counting days. But in approximately 11 days I will be leaving to go to the lake!! YYIIPPPEEE!!!!!
Gotta love those holiday weekends!
My aunt and I worked on making a slip cover for the twin bed mattress, cases for 4 throw pillows and tonight I made cases for two body pillows that will be used to make the bed more like a couch during the day. I found material like what I used for my curtains but it is a smaller stripe and that is what I used for the pillows. The bed/couch cover is made out of the same material as the curtains.

angelsmom10well the roof needs another coat, but it looks good anyway. I need to touch up under the eaves but other than that it is finished. It got too hot to do anymore painting this season, maybe can do some in the fall.

ShirleyTTwelve days and counting. Then we will be gone for 32 days and I will not have to count again until the last week. We just popped down yesteday after cleaning everything and checking all of the storage areas to make sure everything was packed and remove things we would not need. I even put new sheets on the bed so I will not have to do that when we set up. We have a bookcase in ours and I restocked that with new boks for each of us to read.

birolOh birol calm down[:D]. I am trying to give him the brush off. Not working too well though. He called twice yesterday, one time I was with a client, the other I was in a staff meeting. Both times I was short with him since I was working.
I was spending the day with some family on Saturday and he called. He left a message when I didn t answer my cell phone. Wanted to know if I wanted to go to a movie or out to dinner that night. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh?
He also said he wanted to go back to the lake with me and spend some time with me and my family. [: (]

Let s count for a minute the chances I have given him..
1. our senior year (1984)
2. when I was attending junior college (1985-86, off and on)
3. not long after I cancelled my wedding and he was divorced (fall 1998)
4. a year later (fall 1999)
5. about 6 months later (spring 2000)
6. about 2 years ago (fall of 2001- spring of 2002)
Think that is enough chances for him. I am just wondering why I didn t stop giving him chances after 1 and 2 [: (]. Stupidity on my part. Being friends is all I want. Not to spend all my free time with him, occasional visits will do. We have known each other since we were 12, our families were friends and still are. So not likely that I can just turn my back on the whole situation.

Thanks!! Not going to have much changes for awhile. But I will get pictures of the cabin with the deck stained this time and post them.
