There you have four names that be chosen from.  LeeAnn, of course, being named after her Daddy.

Have fun picking your daughter s name.

Firefyter-Emtwell, frankly, I think her mother  (Andrea) has one of the most beautiful names there is.  But if you dont want to have two in the same house with the same name (we have that in our family--oldest DD shares my name), you could always do something like Alexandria (or Alexandrea)  and call her Alex.  Always loved the names Jennifer, Isabella, Anna,  Rebecca, Zoe, Emily, Ramona, Eve--should have had a dozen baby girls so I could use up some of the nice names around.    Amadea (which means " Love Of God"  in Latin) is beautiful, although perhaps a bit offbeat.

Seriously, how about a family name? Both of our girls were given first and middle names which reflect names already in our families, as was our grandaughter.  LeeAnn is a great idea, too, and it is very pretty.

 BTW, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!AGAIN!!!!!!!

Firefyter-EmtI love Isabelle - no matter how it s spelled.  And I love Rose - already I envision this very precious little  with flowing hair and big beautiful eyes and lots and lots of pretty little dresses -though we shouldn t forget that she ll need denim overalls for camping!

Family names can be a blessing or a curse - my real name is Frances, after my mother, both my grandmothers and an aunt.... sigh... and I had to be growing up during the years of Francis the talking mule - not fun!!!  My brother was named for my father, his father, my father s uncle and he (my brother) named his son the same name.... gets to be a lot of nicknames that are hard to outgrow!  I would save any family names for a middle name - just my 2cents.

I m so excited for you all!

hbfc6My cousin s little one is named Samantha Grace; almost a " family"  name. Ok, nickname.  When my cousin was little she loved Green Eggs and Ham and said " I m Sam, Sam I am"  so often that the whole family still calls her Sam to this day.  Samantha was named accordingly.

hbfc6Our DW is Savannah Katherine.  It is actually a more common name now than it was when she was born.  It is unique without being too far from typical names.  Regardless, good luck with chosing a name.  It was difficult for us to chose the names for each of our three kids.  And in case the doctor did not get the gender right, have you chosen any  boy names?
Title: RE: How about sharing baby girl names??

hbfc6The Dr. hasn t given us a gender at ALL!  This is my " feminine intuition"  kicking in full gear (that and an answered prayer)!  Actually , when asking DH for another baby, I guarenteed it would be a girl.  So I guess I better deliver the goods!  [:)]  This is the 1st time we will ever find out from the ultrasound, so it ll be funny if they can t even tell!  I knew with my last baby, too.  I didn t even pick out a girls name, although DH picked one out - just in case!  Everytime I start thinking up boys names it just feels like a waste of time - like I KNOW it s a girl, so why bother?  Other than that, I ve NEVER been so sick with a pregnancy.  [: (]  I am a good pregnant person - I love it.  This time around is so different - I hope it changes when I hit the 4th month! I actually have to go now - nausua is starting to hit me hard!

 hbfc6Lee and Andrea,
No name suggestions, but I found you a song....

 Family Tree by Darrell Scott

Dancin in the living room, cuttin  up a rug
Dancin  with a baby looks more like a hug
Livin  in a house made of saw mill wood
Roll Over Beethoven never sounded so good

Hey, hey baby, baby let s go
Where we get the money, honey, I don t know
One more baby s all right by me
We ll just add another limb to the family tree

Raisin  up babies is our new sport
You re one day late and I m a dollar short
Now maybe it was planned or maybe it was a goof
But a cat just has to dance on a hot tin roof

Hey, hey baby, baby let s go
Where we get the money, honey, I don t know
One more baby s all right by me
We ll just add another limb to the family tree

Well the lawn mower s broke and the tax is due
And if I find another tick I m gonna come unglued
We got hand me-down clothes, hand me-down shoes
 We got the big-belly-mama-here-we-go-again blues

Hey, hey baby, baby let s go
Where we get the money, honey, I don t know
One more baby s all right by me
We ll just add another limb to the family tree

Firefyter-EmtWe have a child who is now in her early 20 s her parents named Ruby Tuesday Rock and Roll. I kid you not.  This child s sister was in my middle son s 2nd grade class.  I could not hide my shock when the mom told me that her daughter s name was just profiled in the newspaper a few months earlier.

I had all boys, but I like Amanda (worthy to be loved) and Christina

Try not to play around and be cutsy with the spelling unless you want your kid s name to be mispronounced her entire life.  I work with a woman named Donnia who pronounces it Donna and says the " i"  is silent.  If only she was.

mrflindersCongrats Lee and Andrea, I know it s a worry, and you wonder how you will handle another, but you just do I think.  Then you bring them home, and suddenly they are cooing and smiling, and crawling, and trying to walk and, you wonder how you would have lived without the new little person.

Now Andrea, don t go upsetting yourself about it if you have another son.  After all from a biological perspective, it s Daddy that decides the gender, not Mom.

We looked and looked for a name for our third.  We hated the name she was given at birth, and once the adoption is complete we choose her new name, so we wanted to go ahead and call her what we will name her.  So we looked and looked, didn t necessarily want another K name, but the other two already had K names.  You never know how she will feel about being adopted, so we didn t want to single her out on name too.  Plus, almost anything we chose, to us, was better than her birth name.

So, we tried on different names, but it had to be something that went with Kaleb and Kaitlind.  Low and behold, I found Hayleigh in a book, and we liked it, but it wasn t K so we just made it that way, and so we now have a Kayleigh.  Haven t found any other baby girls with that name, and yet it isn t too off beat.

Now we just have to decide if she will be Kayleigh Elizabeth or Kayleigh Alizabeth.  Since we have Kaleb Alexander and Kaitlind Alene, we are leaning to the A, but it is so different so maybe not.
