It took alot longer than it should have.
But I finally finished it, well close enough so that I can use it.[:D]
A few things left to touch-up, but I want to use it now before the whole summer is gone.
Started it last year, but then I few things happened that I lost interest.[&:]
And took the time over the last few weeks to get it done.
We took it out for a ride the other night for the first time. And it rode great, nice and smooth and straight. First me (the test dummy), then added DS, then DD.
And before DW could get in the sun went down. So she decided to wait til next time. But we are all able to ride in it, NO problem![:D]
Oh yeah your probably wondering what I m talking about?[:)]

JeffreyYeah, what are you talking about?
JeffreyYEAAAAA!!!!
It s finally done! I was starting to wonder how it was going. You had nt mentioned it in a while. Be sure to wear your name tag out on that boat[;)]
JeffreyYehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, looks like a dream come true !!! And the pictures are beautiful !
JeffreyCajun there is a link up there, to click.
Thanks, Those pictures are all kinda dark.
Hopefully I can take it out again soon, during the day. And get some better pictures.
The other night it took me a long time to figure out, how to haul it on my fishing boat trailer. By the time I figured it out and made it to the lake it was getting late.
It only weighs 90-100 lbs so it should haul on the PU or van too.
But getting it up there is kinda awkward, so it ll take some practice.
Jeffrey
JeffreySuper job Jeff.
So when do you begin on the Titantic?
I really liked the Maiden Voyage picture.
JeffreyWhat a nice project, congrats.
Happy Camping & Boating Too.
JeffreyIt think I just might have an antique lantern or two, that would look pretty good with the boat.[;)]
DW says........ I m all out of space to start any more projects.
First I have to build our Cabin on the River, then I can build a few more.
JeffreyGreat Job, I admire you for taking on and completing such a project. The fact that you built it will make your time in the boat even that much more special.
JeffreyVery nice Jeffrey, you must be really proud of that project!!!

JeffreyYou did a nice job. I wish I could do work like that. Post more pics when you take them.[:)]
JeffreyJeff, Looks great! You ought to be proud of yourself[;)]!!!
JeffreyCongratulations on a job well done, J! Let me know if you ever launch it in that big lake up my way ~ I ll come see it in person.
JeffreyExcellent! Bet that first ride was a blast. How does it track?
JeffreyDude, as a person with a " little bit" of wooddorking experience, er--- woodbutchery, er--- ah, heck, you know what I mean.... you done good!
Like the old guy said: thay ain t no stright lines to er, so if n you can buil da boa , you can buil anyt ing.
JeffreyThanks everyone![:D]
We went out on it today.[:)]
But forgot the camera[&:] I guess that ll be next time.
It s pretty fun, everyone that walks by asks about it.
Really don t see that type of boat around here.
Also brought the kayak along, and the kids finally had fun with it.
They liked riding in the new boat or following in the kayak.
Usually when we go canoeing or kayaking they act like I m torturing them.
Guess they are getting older.[8D]
JeffreyJeff, great job![:)] Not just on the boat (the sunset shot is pure poetry!) but on the house. as well. I can hardly wait to see how the cabin on the Chiippewa comes out![8D]
JeffreyGreat job Jeffrey! But where is the motor? [;)]
JeffreyShirley, you dummy[;)] Dontcha know, hat big lump sticking up in the middle of the boat IS the motor!![:D][:D][8D][:)][;)]
JeffreyBy the way, Jeffrey, is it REALLY " Da Daaaaaaa" ? Or is it " Ta Daaaaaa" ? I mean, I think when people do that flourish thing, they usually shout TA Daaaaa!! (Although maybe when you build a boat in Minnesota, the correct phrase is DA Daaaa.[;)] ) Hmmmm, we might have to ask Gene for the proper protocol on this, I guess.[8D] (Gosh, you dont suppose he will send us to The Treatment Room--or whatever they call it--over this, do you?)[;)]
