No bears were sited at all at Hickory run. Tenters reported seeing a mom and 2 cubs on Friday morn early, but us COTOC campers were just too much for the beasties.

RAIN, a short thunderstorm on Saturday afternoon 10 to 20 minutes, then the heavens opened afterdark as we were at our campfire. We did not get to the hobo pies and I really wanted to try the ones with croisant dough... Clear this AM.
Weekend was OK, wish you and our wif was there, the people that took you spot were OK, but not in our group.
Raymond is talking about going down the Delmarva for Columbus day weekend, he would like to go to Tall Pines Harbor, I would rather do Cherrystone if it is still open, but will probably go to TPH
SheBantamYES that is right, NO BEARS. I was on the campsite that in the past has seen many bears and it is right next to a dumpster. I mentally tuned myself in to hear the sound of something trying to get into the dumpster, but nothing. No bears, only a skunk that I yelled at and it left the campsite.
