Title: RV Show in Las Vegas..and they called it camping
Post by: rednekrubbrduck on Sep 28, 2003, 07:05 PM
Thought it was kind of interesting that one of the casinos has a campground...but when they showed it...it was nothing but a paved parking lot with hook ups.  Alls I could think of was how hot it must get on that paved tarmac during the summer.  They did have an interesting chicken recipe though that was made on a George Forman grill type thing, but didn t write it down.

rednekrubbrduckI live here & yes they are hot.  Even the sidewalks get hot, so much that it s unconfortable to walk too long in tennis shoes.   That s when you zip inside a casino that is kept about 65 degrees year round with pure oxygen pumped in to keep you awake & energized.  Us Las Vegas folk go elsewhere to do our camping, beleive it or not we have some very nice trout streams with real trees & everything.  Can t wait to move though.  I think I ll pick Colorado next.  The ones camping in the casino parking lots (there are several RV Parking Lot camps in LV) are all touriust that come to gamble, not for peace & quiet & serenity.  I d hate to put my PU up in one of those.[:@]
