campingboatersI watch it!! Actually this is the 1st time I ve gotten into it since the 1st season. (I got really mad at who won and vowed never to watch again!!) I can t believe they lost ANOTHER competition!! Osten was really trying though, I think his mental attitude had a lot to do with it! Who s that guy from the other tribe that won? Randall? Something like that..anyway he sure looks like a pirate - I hope he wins - he had a great game mind!
campingboatersRupert is the " natural" pirate. From the very first show, he was very into being a pirate -- especially when he stole the other tribe s shoes off their raft that they left in town and they used those shoes to barter with the town s people for supplies.
I totaly agree that Osten is not doing well because of his mental game.

I was able to watch last night and was afraid that Osten would outlast Rupert. I was a Drake fan from the beginning, so have been pleased.

tlhdocThough we dont watch much television except occasional movies,specials,or HGTV,we do like Survivor.We had a near winner (Lex) here in Santa Cruz,a few season back.What a great asset he has been to our community(He uses his " fame" to help raise money for benefits;to increase voter registration,...).Lex s presence and column in the local newspaper helped keep our interest in the series.We are quite happy that we have kept watching-this season is one of the best.The pirate theme is great.Rupert could have what it takes to be a winner,if he isn t perceived as too much of a threat by the others.We,too,dont know why Osten has survived this long.Suvivor is a game about human nature-one that we find very interesting and fun to watch.
