whitestar505We have camped 62 days this year. We will probably camp about ten more days this fall depending on how deep and early the snow is.
We just finished a 32 day vacation where we had the eye of the hurricaine go over us and tornado warnings.
whitestar505We have only logged in 15 days thus far.Most of our trips were 2 or 3 days.We loved every bit of every one of them.This is in contrast to our trips last year when we experienced a lot of problems due to inexperience and lack of knowledge.Thanks Pop Up Times and Arvee members for the help ! We do plan to get in another 5 days of camping before the end of the year.
whitestar505What seasons ever since we moved to South Florida it s turned into one long season just a little cooler and less humid over the winters, which makes winter down here the best camping time of the year. During the summer we camp the beaches and have a blast and during the winters we head inland to some great SP s, hitting the beaches a little less. As far the amount of trips we ve done this past year since January we ve done 17 trips including, 2 three day trips, 2 four day trips and 1 ten day trip to North Carolina.The rest are weekend trips usually down to the Keys but not more than 4 hours away. So there you have it a year round camping place. So hook up the camper and come on down and don t let it end[8D]

With DH s part-time job on weekends and him being unemployed, we have not been able to camp like we had planned when we bought the NEW PU.
We did manage to double what we have done the last 2 years
whitestar505We have only camped five times, but it has been for 15 nights, maybe a couple more. However, we have logged more miles this year than last: 1492 vs 1733, and we aren t done yet. We will probably put 300 on it this weekend.

whitestar505We have camped almost 50 nights since we bought the PU last August. We have trips scheduled for the end of this month, two in November, two in December and will most likely continue into Jan. and Feb. if DH can get some time off (his busiest work season) to get down to Florida.

whitestar505This was not a good camping season for us. Unfortunately I had some pretty severe neck problems resulting in very painful muscle spasms that started in April and are now only getting under control after a lot of physical therapy!! We are closing everything up this weekend and I feel sad because we just didn t get out enough and the kids were disappointed too. I m keeping a positive attitude though and praying for a wonderful season next spring!!!
whitestar505We spent 41 nights in the PU this year. Our longest trip was from PA to Assateague Island (MD) to the JR Ranch (VA) and back home. That trip was 11 days long. The shortest trip was for 1 night.
whitestar505Wow sounds like most of you camped a ton!! We were only able to camp around 12 days total.... with Dh s job he does not get weekends off.. Me with the Hodgkins treatment s And the kids in school left us with very little time to camp this year... hopefully we will be able to do more this spring...[8D]

Joe BuskirkWe camped 9 days this year, not much but considering we just started not bad eaither .... one was 5 days, the next one 4 days. We wanted to do more but things go in between unfortunately ...... next year we will do a lot more !
whitestar505On the sad side... we have only camped 2 nights this year due to being tied up with selling our house in CT and the big move.
On the happy side.... now that we are in FL our camping season never ends!!!! We are planning to head out again in a couple weeks.
whitestar505We ve only gotten in about 22 nights so far. Down big time from last year. Real life kept getting in the way. But we aren t ready to pack it all in yet. We have a trip planned for 3 more nights (working on making it 4) at the end of the month. Maybe if Nov weather cooperates we ll squeeze in a few more.

Last weekend was our last one for the season ~ I m going to winterize as soon as all those lovely little Asian Lady Beetles and Box Elder Bugs go away ... No interest in opening the trailer next year to a whole bunch o dead bugs! [: (] [/font]
whitestar505This year we were only able to camp 12 days, things would come up and we would have to cancel. Looking forward to next year, We already have about 20 Days planned.
whitestar505Think we will have a total of 45-50 days after fall break. I don t remember the exact days we went. But we went a lot during the summer, logging approx 1 1/2 weeks each month between May and August. Then add the 5 days for spring break and fall break.
whitestar505Turn Key, I m with you, This is just the beggining of our camping season here in south Louisiana. Unfortunately this past year we didn t see much camping. My wife and I both lost our dad s and because of their illnesses, we never were far from home just in case. Not to mention we really weren t in the mood very often. Last weekend we took our first camping trip of the fall in which my mom went with us. She loved it and plans to go with us again very soon. We have two more weekends of PeeWee football and then we re free to do more camping.

whitestar505We just got the PU the end of June and started our year camping then. Hadn t had a chance to get out before then but so far, we ve been 32 days ( just got back from a 10 day trip, the others weekends or long weekends). We have another three day trip coming up next weekend, and hopefully several other weekend trips before it gets too snowy!
It never seems like enough! :>
