While we were camping this past weekend, there was a Jayco popup in our loop that caught my attention. When I returned home and looked up the Jayco website, I couldn't find the floorplan and was wondering if any of you were familiar with it. Since I didn't see the inside, here's all I can tell you about it:
1.) It looked pretty new, the graphics and tenting were blue.
2.) It was a Jayco Eagle. The decal said so.
3.) It had a slideout. But while most Jayco slideouts are front of center, this one was clearly directly over the wheel and aft of center.
4.) It wasn't a large slideout, so I can exclude a 2003 or 2004 14SO per Jayco's website.
5.) Here's the kicker: The floorplan was a slideout without a front storage trunk.
Can anybody clue me in here? It may have been a 2002 or slightly older 14SO, if that model didn't previously have both the dinette and galley on the same slide. I looked at both the 2003 and 2004 floorplans on the website and nothing matches this popup. I should have asked the guy. It was a nice looking popup. Only thing I didn't like was the canvas. It wasn't vinyl and I could see it was getting really dirty. That is one thing I like about vinyl-coated canvas is that it's easy to clean.
The 14SO is the only Eagle model that does not have a front trunk. The dinette and sink area slide out. Paula and I liked the slide out, but were turned off with no trunk.

I know, that's the thing, the slideout on this model was way too small for both the sink and the dinette to fit and I've seen photos of the 14so slideout. It could only be the dinette. That's why I noticed it. Oh, AND it was single axle.
Maybe you could send and email to Jayco and ask them.
Sounds like a 2000 12SO. The light blue tenting was used in 2000. They did make a 12' slide out in 99-00 that did not have a trunk.
