This a Thanksgiving message for those of you who are Vegitarian's in the crowd!!!
I'm glad that one got away. For the first time in many years, we didn't have turkey. Today with just the two of us I made a nice Garlic-shrimp casserole from the recipe on the Southern Living magazine wrapper that I got a few weeks ago, some Cajun Rice and Green Beans Almondine. Topped it off with a big slice of Apple Pie and whipped cream. So good! Tuesday, we had all the kids in and didn't have turkey then either but a big Chicken Wild Rice Casserole and lots of veggies. Topped off with assorted desserts.
Cliff,
LOL, it looks like the one I tried to eat tonight! :( ;)
I heard that funny story about the leftovers and no turkey, Topcat. At least no turkeys were harmed in having that meal. :D

As thanksgiving is over, could we please refrain from turkey jokes ? That will stop offending me very badly and the poor turkeys need to relax till next years thanksgiving ! :D :p :W :S

Thanks, I know I am usually liked. My wife keeps asking me the names of people who do, but I am not giving it out, I don't want the numbers to go dow :):)
The jokes here are very nice ones, some get right down ugly :)
