I always hate the arrival of colder weather as it shuts down our trailer camping season. This year we have our popup and TT sitting next to each other in a campsite we can't access until the spring. As unhappy as I am, we are going camping this weekend and will stay in a shelter, instead of a trailer, at Jenny Jump State Park in Warren County, NJ. The shelters are all occupied for the weekends, (until March), but we took our last three vacation days & rented our favorite one from Sunday to Wednesday. Should be really quiet there as none of the other 7 were rented. We also have it rented for 5 days at xmas, so during the next month, I won't need to climb the walls of our apartment wishing I was in the mountains.

Anyone else, in cold areas, go camping in the winter?
It's a great looking place, Al--a lot of people are surprised to find such natural beauty in New Jersey and dont realize it has mountains (hey you guys out West, I know they are little, but they ARE "real mountains")
Although we dont live where it gets real cold, Billy and I are planning a camp-out this winter in the TrailManor on some mountain property we own, kind of get back to the fun of it all.
That's a pretty site, thanks for sharing with us. The mountains look beautiful. I know you will enjoy it there.
