After visiting my dad in Ohio this coming August, we want to stay a little more than half-way home to Asheville NC for a few days. This would put us somewhere in Central to Southen KY.
How are the Army Corps parks there? What about other parks we may want to consider? We are looking to stay about 3 days. We need hookups.

I'm not sure about KY's COE cg's, but there are several near I-40 around Nashville that are pretty nice. That would be "northern" TN, near "southern" KY. Some of the nicer ones are Defeated Creek, Seven Points. Reservations are available at reserveamerica.com. Get your reservations as soon as you know you will be in that area, because they fill up quick on the weekends.
