Title: New Tow Vehicle is In
Post by: Tim5055 on Jan 27, 2004, 04:15 PM
Well, I have the new tow vehicle in the driveway!  Too bad there is so much snow on the ground.

We will probably wait until closer to spring to put a topper on it, then it off to the campground!

If it ever warms up, I'll climb under the dash and pulg in the Prodigy.

Check it out (http://www.title-3.com/F250.htm)

Nice tow vehicle!  I hope Natasha approves.  Does it give her the room and space she deserves?  I do hope you asked her opinion before you purchased it. :p

Good looking truck!  With all that tow capacity the question is, when do you upgrade to a Hybrid?

:U  :U Congrats on the new truck! :U  :U

Nice Ride!

I think getting the open running board was a good idea since you have snow and road salt to deal with.  We are getting ready to sell our 93 Explorer and we'd be able to get a decent sum for it except for the fact that there is rust going wild where the running boards meet the body of the vehicle.  All that salt and snow and ice getting jammed in there for long periods of time is bad news!

Have fun with your new baby!

tim, you have all of us very envious. That's a great looking truck and I'm sure Natasha will have plenty of room. I guess you are going to more on over to a hybrid or TT. I'm going to get a new TV this spring or summer.

Nice truck Tim! My next truck will be similar to that. Have to wait until the Trailblazer is paid off first.

We would like a Caravan, but still don't have anywhere to keep it :(

We want to see the new Fleetwood Highlander model.  With the slide out it may give us the room we want, but still fit in the garage ;)

Time will tell.

The old TV was great, but it was time to move on.

Tim I walked through one of the new ones, the Coleman er I mean Fleetwood folks here have a few, pretty nice looking and I can say I do miss the BIG beds.  Looked at a Caravan, nice but I was depressed by the storage, or I should say lack there of.  Other things were great, but storage was enough for me to scratch it off our list for the time being.

Hi Tim,

Great looking truck, I know you will enjoy it.  If you are looking at the Highlander series, check out the TrailManors.  They will fit in larger garages and have lots of room and storage.  We are loving ours.

Happy Camping,
Al

We looked at the TrailManors at the Harrisburg RV show last year.  Don't know why but it just didn't feel right.  But, keeping that in mind I will look again before we make a decision.

Sweet...and I am not a Ford guy.  Nothing like pulling a ~3k pound trailer with a ~6k pound truck!

That is an AWESOME truck, Dude!  Looks like it could haul a railroad car full of circus elephants.  You wont even know the trailer is behind it : :)

Louise,

I would like to say we copied you, but it was the closest to the old one we had.
I am still surprised with the power of this truck.  I only wish we could pull the pop up to see how it feels.

Looking forward to spring!

I am sure you will be pleased. Just as I was when I changed my set of wheels. It is nice to be able to tow without the worry.
Nice truck again.

Wow nice truck!  I know how thrilled you must be.  DH and I are excited to have our new to us Grand Cherokee.  Such a great feeling knowing you will be able to tow with no problem.  Good Luck

Tim,
What do you think of the 6.0 psd?. I am interested in this engine but want an suv so the only choice is the EX.  My father works for GM so I could get the 2500HD w/ the Duramax but not enough room for trips w/ separating the children.  The Ex is the only suv that offers a diesel.

Thanks,
Corey

Kind of like water skiing behind a cruise ship eh?
You could pull your camper, my trucker and camper too.
Kind of like a road-side assistance deal.
