I have made a decision to move to a Travel Trailer, we will take delivery next weekend. After many trips to campgrounds that have had questionable cleanliness of bathrooms, and the fact that we(me and DW) are getting older, the TT will satisfy our personal needs better than the PU. It was a difficult decision but we feel that it is right for us. I will be selling my 2003 Qwest 12A in a couple of months, after I take it out of storage. You are all great folks and I have learned alot from this site. I will not say goodbye but happy camping to all, hopefully the winter will be very short for all of us so that we can begin camping again.
Can't say I blame you Joe. We bought our TT & had it delivered the week after our campground closed. It's been sitting there since Oct 20 & I'm climbing the walls not being able to be in it (or the popup). Peggy wanted all the ammenities & she finally has them. We did keep our popup because we intend to still occasionally camp at places where TT's can't go.
Wish you the best, Joe, but you are always welcome here, of course. It would seem to me that most issues and questions aren't canvas related, but rather camping and trailer-related; therefore, this might still be a helpful site for you.
