Post by: angelsmom10 on Mar 08, 2004, 11:24 AM
Not sure if this site has been mentioned before, but it seems to have a lot of CG's and the websites for them.

Thanks mom for the link.  I had found this site sometime ago, then the old puter crashed and I lost it all.  For the life of me I couldn't remember what it was.  Your an "Angel.":D

Thanks for the link!!
They even list one of our favorite (quiet) campgrounds that doesn't get listed anywhere else! Waterest Campground in Woodstock. NH!
I'm impressed!
Thanks again!

Wow! It lists some of the really small ones around here!

Only thing...I noticed the phone numbers for all the campgrounds in SW Virginia are listed with Area Code 540. Our area code changed to 276 about two years ago. Hope that's not an indication of how up-to-date some of the other info is. However, I did notice that several of the campgrounds in Central VA are listed with AC 434, which is correct. That part of VA changed to 434 about the same time we changed to 276. Guess they overlooked us.

Not surprising...this part of VA tends to get treated like a red-headed step-child anyway!   A lot of folks in Eastern VA think the state ends at Roanoke...takes us three hours just to get to Roanoke! LOL!!  :p

Thanks AM. This will make this years planning a lot simpler. I found a lot of campgrounds I used to haunt years ago that I had completely forgotten about. Not to mention good info on themepark campgrounds (I'm a roller coaster junkie).
