I was looking at the members and realized that we have 4-1/4 pages of members who posted absolutely nothing. Their post count is zero ! That is a substantial number of people who posted nothing.
Is the forum software post count portion somehow misguided, or are all those members not interested in the forum ... Some of them could be lurkers, but all of them ?
Birol if you look at any forum membership information, you will see that there are always a lot of lurkers. Many people read but don't post. I doubt that there is anything wrong with the counter. :)

1) Many people lack imagination and therefore have nothing to say.
2) Many people do have an imagination, but ...
2a) ...imagine that no one could ever be interested in anything they might say.
2b) ...imagine things that might go wrong, such as spelling mistakes, being misunderstood, being ridiculed, or just plain ignored.
3) Some people sign up, and then forget that they are members, and never come back.
4) Some people are not impressed with us and choose to go away and never come back.
5) Some people will simply never make sense to the rest of us, and choose to be a pure observer...a.k.a. lurker.
6) Some people don't make sense to themselves.

I have 2 ideas......
1. They sign up for trial membership and don't continue, in which case I think they should be deleted after they don't join.
OR....
we just scare them away????
If people are scared of friendly chat, maybe we should stop cahtting here .... I try to contibute at the general forum as much as I can but, I dried up there ..... Need a PU to get em going :) No new tow rating discussions neither :) That used to be one of the best topics !
There might even be some members who paid the money for the mag, visited once or twice, but never posted. Their money was mainly for the mag.

I come and read everyday and do occasionaly reply or start a thread. But I am in the catagory of Austins 2a and 2B. Don't really think I have much to contribute and my spelen sumtims jest plane sux.;)
