Well, it is finally official - we are moving. I know I talked about it before but now that we have sold one house and purchased another - it finally sunk in.
Around the 1st of July we will officially be residents of Georgia.
But, the surprise was --- we purchased the house from another faily of campers. While they have moved up from a pop up, they still have the camping spirit. Just about every weekend they are out in their camper.
It was wonderful walking around the ouse with them because tehy liked the same things we did.
I just hope everything holds together until closing on the house!!!
Wow, best of luck on you move!!!
Congratulations :) !!! I hope everything goes well. So how far will you have to tow the PU to attend the eastern rally?
I hope it will go smoothly Tim. And please make sure you both come to the rally ! DD keeps asking if Felicia will be coming to the rally :)
Congrats on the house sale and the purchase of another. I know you will be glad when you are all moved and settle at the new location. Maybe someone in NC or VA will let you park your popup there so you won't have to tow so far for the Rally. Better yet, maybe the campground will let you park the camper there until the rally.....just a thought, anyway.
Just think how much closer you will be to Fort Wilderness ;)

One of the many reasons I didn't fight the transfer :Y :-()
You should write "Natasha's Guide to Disney" and in it you give the best way to get the most for your money and reviews of everything Disney. ;)
It's so exciting, isn't it?
He can't hear you, he is enjoying the move :) (I hope).
Now, just think how much closer to Disneyworld you'll be!! ;-)
Tim, oddly enough we havent camped in any of the Georgia parks yet, but they are plenmtiful and excellent (we' have visited several) I expect you will soon be informing everyone at PUT about their advantages and disadvantages :#:#: :# just as you have been doing about the ones in the mid-Atlantic area.
BTW, what part of the city are you moving to? You said "north" in another thread--that's good!. We lived in Brookhaven just a couple miles inside the Perimeter and found it made a very easy and fast getaway on Friday afternoons when we escaped to the mountains.
Great to have you and Felica and Natasha as "neighbors" and hope we'll cross paths in a campground one day again. . :!
