Title: Owners Manuals
Post by: Tim5055 on May 09, 2004, 08:10 AM
OK, reading the reply from deniski to the question "Coleman "Evolution 3" PU fabric: How to patch & prevent "WICKING"? " (http://www.arveeclub.com/showthread.php?t=51858) got me thinking....

Many times folks don't have their owners manuals either because they purchased used or just lost it.  Back when Fleetwood and Coleman were on speaking terms, Fleetwood kept all previous years owners manuals on line in PDF format.

I downloaded both my manual and the 2001 sales brochure.

Did anyone else do this?  Anyone else have a manual in PDF for other years?

If so, maybe we could get them all together and make them available again.

Who knows, maybe Fleetwood will be able to get past the restriction of having anything with the Coleman logo on it and put it back up someday, but until then folks need access to manuals.

OK, who has them?

I don't remember if any other manufacturers offered them in PDF, but if so we can add them.

Don't have it in PDF, but I have the hard copy of the 2002 Fleetwood manual that came with my Utah (plus all the extra manuals--frig, furnace, etc.). And I have a scanner so I could copy it if anyone needed it.

I don't have a Coleman camper, but I do have all the books for a 1992 Viking.  I also have a scanner.  Can anyone tell me how to put them into a PDF file?

We have the hard copy of the manual to our 1996 Coleman Yukon.  I also have a scanner, but would need someone to explain to me how to transfer the data to PDF as well.

Yup, after my original post PUP stepped up to the plate and put together the best site for manuals.  I actually stopped collecting them because of PUP.

I recently ordered another owners manual from Fleetwood (9/08), for my 2006 Niagara and received it within 2 weeks, with a bill for $10.00.

Many of the owners manuals for various models/years are available for download at //www.popupportal.com.
