the dealer forgot to give Birol Lee's message about his phone number so Birol is stranded in a hotel in Mass and by the sounds of the condition fo the pu, he is REALLY REALLY going to need a friend like Lee who knows about all this stuff to take a look at the pu before he tries to tow it home.
In case Lee or Andi dont check the board tonight to learn Birol's plight--DOES ANYONE ON THE BOARD LIVE NEAR LEE AND ANDREA'S TOWN TO FIND THEIR NUMBER IN THE PHONE BOOK

I was sjust afraid that with 4 little kiddies you might not have time (or energy ;) ) to check the board tonight--so now all is well and we can all relax and be happy for Birol that he has friends like you to help him now when he is in such need of advice and the knowledge Lee can provide.
Spoke with Lee on the phone, what a nice person ! Hopefully we will go over the PU tomorrow and see if it is safe for the trip !!!

Birol, on our old original boards years ago, Lee always had a lot of creative ideas about pu repairs and mods and then he and Andi and family were at the original Eastern Rally in Tennessee and if there is something Lee doesnt know to help you figure out what to do about your pu and get it home safely, I will be astonished!
He is good ! Just by talking to him, I felt a lot better already ! If he has time, we will check the bearings, I am sure he will fill me in with a lot of tips ! Hopefully we won't need tires .....
I am gettin sleepy now, been up since 4 am .... After 1:30 am eake ups of both previous days it is getting to me. yesterday DD had a friend for sleep over and she woke DD up at 2 am saying she wants to go home .... We ended up waking up and calling her mom and giving her Motrin, but I couldn't sleep until 3 am afterwards :( I had gone to bed at 9 pm .... oh well I am about to sleep I guess, I love having internet at the hotel :)

Normally I wouldn't! But today it's different! I was so excited about Birol getting his camper I just
had to see if he posted anything or was able to! I was sooo bummed we missed him yesterday! I'm glad we were able to make contact with him! We will post after he leaves and give you guys all a heads up!
It is actually my fault. I was too busy finding a carrier to take over half of my route and the issues with Milo .....Days just went away one by one. By the time I got my act together it was too later :( But all is well once again :) How am I going to sleep, I keep dreaming of the PU :) I want to pup it and sleep in it !!!!
As one of the rare group of people that have met both Birol & family, as well as Andrea and Lee, I know you'll all get along just great! Just watch out if Birol gives ya Maple cookies, those things are addictive!!!

Shucks.. Thanks dear! ;) I do miss having all the time to play on the boards, maybe some more now that camping season is here.. I just wish my job would pick up a bit. Looks like we may be missing the rally this year. I am really bummed because I am a civil war buff....:mad: BTW, was not the first rally in VA?? Eh? Tenn. was the second rally. I sure hope we can break a rut and get there. What I need to break me out of my slump is a new camper! But stay tuned for a complete kitchen sink & table top make over this summer. I am making new ones and laimainateing them with new counter-top material. I may trim it in oak too!
But anyways back to the subject.. Yes, I did get in touch wth Briol and I dobut there is much we can not get done to get him on his merry way. I may try to gently remove the inner seal to pack the inner bearing too, but we will just see how it goes first. He may need tires, but we can cross that bridge when he gets here. The rest will be easy as pie.
Oh yea.. I have a camera too! :p Gonna grab some photos, might even make Briol get greasy! Hmmm, I wonder it the pop-up will fit into my shop opened up??

I LIVE IN THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA MOUNTAINS! And they are beautifful all year! :! And we have several wonderful state parks here in the mountains with fine camping! :# :# .
BUT--I agree we need to do this in North Carolina! :-() It is ALSO a gorgeous state although, like the Georgia mountains, not ALWAY predictably cool in summer ;) . But it is fairly convenient for people from other places in the east and southeast And not too far for the :Georgia Gang to go!
