Title: About to check out ....
Post by: birol on May 25, 2004, 06:40 AM
I have to return the bunch of tow stuff I purchased yesterday to Wallmart ! Looks like they are going to fix the Ball/drawer bar/shank size problem with a steel sleeve. As long as it holds until Whitby, I do not care .....

I am going to take some pictures and post them when I am back ......

IMHO, Briol.. I would not worry about it at all.. The sleve will keep it in place just fine. I have one on my 1-7/8" ball set up I think.. Your camper is light and there is really no need to change the sleeve or the ball later on. See ya in a few hours..

Ok everybody I know this sounds like another plug for my employer. If you can find an Adavance Auto Parts store close we carry a 1 7/8" ball with a 1" shank. We also are the first brick and mortor retailer to carry the new Reese ball and ball mounts that only require one wrench to tighten them. The mount has a hex reses and the ball flange has a corisponding hex. The ball is held by the mount so the ball cannot spin as you tighten it.
