I started to take some pictures, and will get more done this weekend when we are out for the maiden trip.  I will post them next week when we get back.  We are sure looking foward to getting out with it.

Some of the guys that I work with came over at lunch and we just sat in it for about 20 minutes before we went back to work.  They seemed to like it.

Lets see, when I had my popup, it had A/C, heater, hot water, running water, electricity, king beds, satellite, color tv, portable bathroom, roll out sun shade, screen room, bottled gas, cook-top range, even a vanity with a mirror.  Everyone thought it was overkill.  Way to much comfort to be called camping.

Now I have gone and done it, went and got a big box with most of the same things in it.  Wonder what they will say now. ;)

Dave,
What is the weight of you new camper?  We may be looking to move up to a hybrid or TT in a year or so & was wondering what something like that weighs.

6400lbs empty,  which is why I am weighing everything going in to it.  If you are moving up and will be getting a new TV too, be sure to make it at least a 3/4 ton.  That will give you more options.  We had to choose a different floorplan than the one we originally wanted because it was just to heavy, even for our 1500 'burb.  As it is, I will never travel with water on board, or will consider taking everything that I really would want to haul.  I got as big as I could justify and feel comfortable with.

You might want to carry around 7-10gal of water in the on-board tank. To use your pottie if need be.
I was thinking the same thing. And after reading on the RV.net board most carry a little water in the holding tank, JUST IN CASE.. This will help if you have a little one who has to "go real bad". and you can't find a place to your likeing..

Dave,
Thanks for the update.  We bought a TV last month a 04 Avalanche which is rated to tow the same amount as a Burb (actually it is a burb). So we will also be limited on what we can purchase due to weight.

That thing is gorgeous!!!   Gleaming white and all sparkling new and all.  I wouldn't want to take it anywhere, it might get dirty!!  LOL.
Congrats on that new mansion, I love it.
And BTW, the remark about your hitch being a shin breaker really struck(get it?) me.  I never remember that there is a big chunk of metal sticking out of the back of our truck and van.   Since I'm short, it gets me right in the knee, every time.   Dang!

I like the tiger graphic.  The camper is nice too, but I like the tiger.

Good thing CampG is at work.  I can just hear him now...  "You want me to pay $35K for a camper because you like the picture of the tiger?!"

:p  ;)
