We are at the Benbow RV park in the heart of California's coastal redwoods. They are setting up their wireless internet system and we can get on FREE. Now if I had brought the cable for the camera I'd post pictures as well. The second tee for the golf course is right outside the back of the trailer (OK - 50 feet with blackberry bushes in between), the Eel river is just on the other side of the campground. This is a really nice park (Woodall's rates it 5 stars). There is a lot of traffic noise though. Hwy 101 is up on the side of the hill across the river and being in a canyon the noise is kind of annoying.
We're heading out to Shelter Cove on the coast today. It has a black sand beach and is said to be really pretty. Tomorrow we'll be exploring the Avenue of the Giants.
Now I think I'll get back to camping. :tent:
I know what you mean, I'm sitting here at the picnic table at Ocean Waves Campground with a nice cool breeze blowing from the north, and online with my Verizon Wireless...It's slow at 14.4k, but I'm connected!!!
