A friend of ours looked at a PU last night and wanted our opinion. It is a 1990 Coleman, canvas has some tears (we're not sure about the extent of the tears), has some mold inside, I believe on the ceiling. No a/c. DW wants a/c. I think that it just a bare bone basic.
Wasn't it Coleman that had the roof problems and if is what years were in question or what PU was it?
They are asking only $200.
Really need info about roof problems.
The roof problems were with the ABS plastic one piece roofs that were used between 1996 and 2003.
The 1990 would have an aluminum roof.
Note: to use an AC with this trailer you will have to purchase the roof bracing from a Fleetwood dealer and either direct wire the AC unit with it's own plug to shore power or retrofit the trailer with a larger supply line and a dedicated 20 amp breaker for the AC.
