Title: Long awaited first trip
Post by: la62pv on Jun 22, 2004, 09:24 PM
I can't belive it's June 22 and we still haven't been out in our Pop-up this year.  This weekend we're finally going to Wawaloam in Rhode Island.  I can't wait.  I've been thinking about this trip for 2 months now.  I even went out and bought a Thermos Grill to Go so I don't have to deal with Charcoal anymore.  The only bad thing about this trip is that my son won't be coming along.  He's away at school in Ohio and this is the first trip he'll be missing.  It won't be the same but we'll make the best of it.

Have a great trip.  I know you will miss your son, but have a good time anyhow. :)

Glad to see you'll finally get out, enjoy the trip...

Not so sure that's a good thing. I bought a Grill-2-Go a few years ago, found it took up way too much storage space, and didn't do a thing for flavor. I've since sold the thing at the flea market for $50 and bought a Coleman Grill-n-Griddle for the convenience, and a mini sunbeam charcoal grill for cooking steaks when I was some flavor! The pair of them plus a small supply of charcoal still take up less space than that Grill-2-go did...
