Title: Starcraft RT for sale on Ebay.. wonder...
Post by: angelsmom10 on Jun 23, 2004, 08:27 AM
Someone from Long Island is selling their Starcraft RT 2004, just wondering why after only 3 trips would he sell it.  I've emailed him to find out why... not that he would tell the truth.

NADA doesn't even list the 2003 models of the RT series to know what would be a good price.

I would not pay any more for it than the 2003 pricing.

Yeah, but what is that... NADA doesn't list the 2003 RT or the Centennial.. that was the 1st year for both of those models I believe, I know for the Centennial.

This distance is just too far for us to travel... DH and I were excited when orginally it was being planned for KY... we were going to make that trip one way or the other, but this distance is just too far.

But if anyone is coming closer, we'll try to make it to camp with them.

DH is currently working kinda 4 different job, putting in over 70hrs a week, still not coming close to what he was making, he'd have to take off (at least Fri and Sat) so many hours as the only day he basically takes off is Sunday, the cost of gas, cost of CG, it just all adds up; we've discussed GLPUC trips which we would make most of those and the Eastern Rally, and decided that we'd be cheaper to do a few local trips then 1 group outing.. it really upsets us, but that's what we have to deal with.  I was really hoping for KY, but the group spoke.

The only trip we hope to make will be in Oct with GLPUC southwest outing as that should be locally (depending on where the group votes).

Like I said, anyone coming to SW Ohio, let me know ahead of time and we'll try to schedule a meeting.

The reasons you state above is why most people going to the rally couldn't/wouldn't go to KY.  The other reason was the inability to find a suitable campground.

Why do you think he wouldn't tell the truth.   There are a lot of newer PUs sold in my area.  Many people buy one but find that they really want a TT.
