I didn't go, Tracy.

I stayed home to pack for a 12 day trip to Montana!  Leaving tomorrow and camping near Glacier for 5 nights while we are there.

We didn't go either. After returning last weekend from a so-so weekend of camping, we went to my sis-in-law's house to house/dog/frog/fish-sit. Spent 5 nights there, so we were very happy being able to go home and sleep in our own bed.

We stayed home too. :( With paint brush in hand, we decided to stay home and paint the bedrooms. Two down, ceiling done on the third, should be done today.
Next trip is on the 23rd headed down to Long Key SP, one of our favorite places.:D

We didn't go either, we stayed home and did some PU repairs and preparations for 7 days of camping on the beach in San Diego. Can't wait, our temps are starting to go up and it is time to move out and do some cool weather camping.

We didn't go but our camper went.  This past winter we had an auction at our church to raise money for our youth group so we auctioned off a weekend with our camper.  We went and set it up and paid for the site and threw in a few extras.  Later today we are going back up to take it down and bring it home.  I could not believe the price the weekend sold for.  We got over $180 for "The poor man's weekend get away vacation".  The family that bought it have been thinking about buying a PU and wanted to try one out for real.  Hope they had a great weekend.  They even got to see what it was like during a rain storm yesterday.  They have been tent campers so I have sure it was an improvement during the rain.

I wanted to go...but didn't have funds available for a trip, not even a local camping trip. Kind of a shame really, because I may be selling the Hybrid in an effort to save my  credit. Oh well...it may be back to a PU for me, at least for a while (still have access & title to 'The Old Barge'...who'd have thought?)

I did not camp . I only camp when I have the great grandsons. I put the camper up to clean it and get ready for the Eastern Rally. I am glad that I did. The AC fan would not work. I took the cover off of it and found that mud dobbers had built a nest in the fan. The nest had glued the fan to the side and would not let it turn. It is fine since I tore the nest out of there.

We didn't get to go camping either.  We went to our lake house though.  The first part of the time there was for work.  We canned vegetable soup, 51 quarts and 14 pints.

It was cloudy the whole time, but we had plenty of company.  It was my sister, me and my three girls, my friend and her two sons, and another sister of mine.  Wish the weather would have been a little bit better, but we needed the rain so it all came out for the best.

We didn't make camping plans because we hate the 4th traffic but at the last minute, we decided to go visit MIL at Cape Cod. To avoid traffic, we left NJ at 11:30pm (6 hr drive w/o traffic). Our son, who's taking a course in Providence RI, decided to come with us. Luckily Providence is on our way. We arrived around 4am to pick him up and the campus was filled with kids out playing frisbee, etc. Boy, I forgot what college was like  :D . Arrived at the Cape in time for breakfast.

Although there was little traffic, we saw some horrific accidents along the way. We were glad we weren't pulling the camper - we HATE 95 in CT. Came home via MA 84 instead. Hope everyone had the good weather we had. I'm sure it was because we weren't camping. Somehow rain follows our camper.

We didn't get to camp either...we visited relatives in Tennessee. While it's nice to see everyone I always get a little bored there.   They like to sit inside and watch movies when they are home or go out shopping for something fun to do.  I'd much rather have been driving around in the mountains or checking out local campgrounds (we did check out a couple, but there were so many more listed in the phone book) or even sitting outside enjoying the beautiful weather they had most of the time.  Oh well...I guess I should just save my visits home for when it's too cold to be outside playing.  ;>
