Title: What is the stopper for?
Post by: RuffinIt on Jul 09, 2004, 10:15 PM
I was cleaning out the PU today, and I realized there is a stopper in the shower.  It can't be used for a tub, and it seemed a little funny to have a stopper.

We hoped to go camping this weekend, but we are not prepared.  It would have been a rushed trip that we were not ready for, and then we would have been frustrated that we did not have what we needed.  Plus the place we were going to go to was all booked up.  Next weekend we are definately going camping as we are meeting my folks.  Who knows, maybe we will sleep in the camper in the backyard again this weekend! :)

Title: No clue about the stopper but welcome...

Good question about the stopper.  I don't have a PU with a shower so I would only be guessing about an answer.  How about a cleaning aid?
Anyway welcome to the board.  Maybe someone will come by soon with your answer.

With the stopper in place bugs, mice, cold or hot air, etc. can't come up out of the drain, if the outside cap is off.  There could also be mold/mildew growing in the line and it keeps any odors out too.  I keep my stopper in the drain except when we are using the shower. :)

We used the shower basin in our Coleman Niagara as a tub to give our children a bath. Works great for a kid under 3 years old. They only need a few inches of water to splash around in, while we get them clean, and it was easier to give them a bath than a shower.
