What's up B? Need to vent?
email me if you feel the need.
Hugs~ C
Birol, we are HERE for you--WHATEVER IT IS! Perhaps you suspect that the children will not be in your custody or this will cost more than you expected or something else really bad, but every sorrow is a little less heavy if you have friends to share it with. so feel free to e-mail me or any other of the gang, or just come here and vent as Cindy suggested. We have understanding hearts and you are never out of them.
Birol, we're all thinking about you and wishing you the best! I know it's tough but we're all behind you!
gosh, have we not heard from Birol? do we know what is going on? If there's a new thread, please aim me in the right direction.
Birol, I have a book I ordered called Spirit of the Open Road by Peggi McDonald. I thought it was going to an RVing travel narrative but the sub title is "The Essential Guide for Canadian RVers."
Their main target audience is Canadians who are thinking about full-time RVing, but there is a lot of information about general stuff: traveling with pets, service on the road, outdoor hints, favorite household hints etc.
I enjoy reading these kinds of books and read this one but have no need to keep it (since I have several similar and this one focuses on Canada) and would be happy to mail it to you as a gift. Please email your postal address to me at sandykayak@yahoo.com
Thanks Sandykayak,
very appreciated , my mail addy is on its way to you son :)
Birol, May I ask....Do you still have "Finally"? I haven't heard you say.
Just wondering and praying for you everyday.
It should still be in the garage ..... If she did not give it away already to someone :(
I will talk to my lawyer next time I see him and see if I can get it plus some more stuff I need from the house. If she gave it away I will be so upset ! I heard romours that she is giving stuff away already when the police already told her not to sell or get rid of anything .....

I don't think she can legally do that, didn't you get it titled in your name. Not that it would mean anything if she did, but she would have to pay you for it's value, and in Canada, they are pretty high.
After all the work Firefyter-emt did on it and the work I did at home, it is invaluable to me ! it is not worth 435 usd anymore ...... I am pretty sure it is gone already ..... The neighbour always wanted to borrow it and last I heard she gave my sons computer to them ....so why not finally too ....
Sigh ..... oh well
And I lerned why I was terminated, because I was not working fast enough for them. But the numbers they crunched are all wrong, guess they did not like me or something .....oh well nothign I can do about it to be frank ...

Don't know how it works in Canada...but here is the US, even though they say nothing can be sold or given away during the proceedings...they still get away with it....my ex, sold & kept $ from 31' Airstream & a 25,000 401 K plan we had. Then he gave away 15 Arabian Horses & most of the household appliances as well as all the horse equip, a tractor & many thousands of dollars worth of tools!!!!
Nothing was done about it legally.....nothing happened to him.

I don't think I would want a fast painter! I'd want a GOOD painter!
Good I was ! Both bosses always complimented my work, and almost all the house owners also said excellent job ! I did not do a half hearted job ! It looked really well .....
I learned to let go of things ... They don't want me I don't want them ....I want to be appreciated as I do a good job at everything I try or I do not do it if I can not really do the job ...
I think I will go to the local small airport and see if they need someone I always liked planes ....

Just a thought....Are you good enough friends with your neighbor that he would spy around and see if "Finally" is still in the garage and tell you?
You know, look in the open garage door as he passes by or something. Or would you be afraid "she" would fine out?
Can't the lawyers speed up enough to let you get what belongs to you? Maybe with a sheriff escort or something.
Seems like there must be a way.
Keep working on it and here's hoping for good news soon.
