on my prayer list...
There's always room on my list.
there have actually been several serious scientific studies done by medical people with regard to patients and the power of prayer and they have discovered some AMAZING things about prayer.
People who are prayed for do better than those not prayed for AND this is true even of people who do not believe that prayer will help. It is also true of patients who are not aware they are being prayed for. There is something so immensely powerful about the loving thoughts that people send on behalf of others that it passes our ability to understand it.. I guess all we can do is conclude that prayer truly is a miracle gift from God.
Oh Cruiserpop..I'm so sorry to hear this and I will definitely keep her and your family in my prayers. We're going through some bad times with my mother in law too...just found out last week she has lung cancer that they now know has spread to her liver. They had a brain scan scheduled for yesterday and the poor dear lady fell and broke her hip before she left for her doctors appointment. We're just trying to take it day by day...
Your Mom must be quite a trooper! We will be praying for her!
How is she doing?

Well, generally good. She's active, goes to Chemo once a week/two weeks, but this development is brand new. She's had all the radiation and Taxol she can have in a lifetime. She's on the experimental stuff for the throat cancer now-they haven't decided howto attack this one, if at all.
