Ok, how do you do a "Google" search?? I can't figure it out. Suppose I want to look up any info on John Smith in Anytown, CT. In the Google search line, am I suppose to put it with quote marks like "John Smith, Anytown, CT" or should I not include commas, etc. I think I'm the only person around who doesn't get this google stuff.
To look for a person, whitepages.com is a good free site.
If you use a search engine, I like to use +'s and -'s. For example, if I want to look for John Kennedy, but not the ones in Massachusetts, I would type +"John Kennedy", -"Massachusetts".
This doesn't get perfect results, but it is better than typing the whole thing. It also works well for ebay and such.
Larry
I agree with Larry Google isn't the greatest at finding people.
What I do is hit the "advanced search" gives you lot's of options to add to a search.
Although this is a little backwards, if you enter a page #, it will usually pull up the correct name and street address, town, etc. It worked on everybody I knew, except us! It named a guy in the next town over from me!
A page number???
I'm stuck on the page number thing too??
