I haven't seen a thread like this before but I thought it might be fun to see what items others have seen and laughed at the price or item.

On our recent trip, I think the most outrageous pricing was on a pair of men's 100% itialian silk boxers. $99.00 a pair but they were on sale for just $29.00.

HEY!!!! I resemble that!!

Ok, now for the explanation. At the 2002 Rally in TN, Rick brought an inflatable porta-potty to put in the auction. I didn't bring anything so I figured I would just donate $20, to make a long story short I bought the porta-potty for the $20.
I was going to try to use it to go tubing in the river but it was too tall and not wide enough, it would just keep flipping over.

AN interesting note, a little while after I inflated it (with a long straw like tube), the plug popped out and the air came out. Sure would hate to have that happen while using it!!:yikes:

Sorry ~ I have nothing to contribute to this thread ... I'm as frugal as they come and feel like I pay too much for everything I buy!! :D

That was the question of the week, we all wanted to know who would blow up the potty after it was used. Even if it was used tubing. Please see Rick (campNfan) for his story about Tubing.
