We took no time off last year(ok,three sick days),and looking for opinions on our destination. The week is June 13.And east of Missippi since it is only a week, and we are located in northeast ohio.CG's with web sites are nice ,but if far enough away from normal(I like to fit in),phone numbers and snail mail will do.thanks
I highly recommend //www.littlerivervillage.com. Many people here have been there too, as it was the site of the First Annual PUT Rally. Get a river site. You'll love it. It isn't too far from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge (30 min), and is 1/4 mile to the entrance to Smoky Mtn NP.

How far of a drive do you want to keep it at? Michigans UP is always nice, you could take in Tahquamenon Falls (//%22http://www.michigandnr.com/parksandtrails/ParksandTrailsInfo.aspx?id=428%22)
There is enough to see and do in that area to keep you busy for a week easily.
LOL Marcy
If you can get Marcy to guide you in MI, go for it. Her and her dh make excellent camp guides.
Beautiful area there and really nice state campgrounds.
Upper Peninsula may be better for second trip in july, thanks.Looking for north ideas for that one.
Gatlinburg and a smoky mountain tour sounds good too we better make up our minds quick or it wont get booked;any other ideas?
