Griffsdad wi-fi'd my laptop!! Now I can post to PUT from any room in the house and it's way faster than my old dial up!!

Well, congrats!! I have a laptop and have been wireless for about a year or so. It is amazing technology, isn't it?

I have a pic of a bar I built and I am sitting on the far right stool as I type this. The bar is mainly a place to sit while paying bills. The house is too big for only three of us so I had to build something.

DH might draw the line at building me something just so I can surf the Web from anywhere in the house now. I guess I'll just have to be content with sitting in my comfy chair in the family room...or the nice couch in the living room...or the patio table in the backyard or..... ;)

Talking about the wireless internet, my friend Linda went camping in her TT to a fancy RV park in south Texas for a week. She had intentions of paying the extra fee to get internet while she camped but after she got set up she opened her laptop and BINGO! she got free internet! She guessed that she picked up from a wireless router from some nearby camper. The campsites were pretty close together.

I use my laptop with a GPS attachment for travel. I have stopped at a stoplight and noticed I was connected. I checked my email while the light was red.

We usually take my laptop camping to download digital pictures from my camera or watch a movie in bed while our little one is sleeping. Now I know I won't be able to resist seeing if there's a connection I can piggyback onto....:Z
