Title: fi9nally closed a deal
Post by: diane on Mar 25, 2005, 05:22 PM
Having lost out on 2 great campers, I jumped on this one. I just today purchased a 2002 Coleman Cottonwood with refrig. and decor package for $3900. I really wanted a Grant Tour series but just couldn't justify the extra $3000 for basically the same floor plan. The biggest feature I wanted was the swing level galley rather than the fold over one, oh well. If anyone has a brochure I would be happy to pay to copy and ship it. Now I just have to sell the motorhome. Hey, I can actually sleep in the camper when the kids each bring a friend rather than out in the screen room, can't wait :-()  :#

Congrats!! From what I have heard, Fleetwood either has a place to download the manual or they will send you one if you request one from them.

 Happy Camping!!!!

When the Coleman - Fleetwood lawsuit broke out Fleetwood took down the web site where you could download manuals; because......  They said "Coleman" on them.  Coleman would not allow any "Coleman" advertising by Fleetwood.

Now, if you call customer service you can get an owners manual and a wiring manual if you ask.

Do you want the entire 2002 brochure or just the specs pages?

Congratulations on the purchase.:)

Thanks Tracy, the specs page would be great. I tried to contact Fleetwood today via phone, but the # listed on their site came up disconnected. I will e-mail them and see if they have a flyer specific for the cottonwood model (my last camper did). I can't wait for the rain to stop so I can pop her up and start planning modifications.    :#

Diane,
Sounds like a good deal and you probably don't have to worry about needing a new roof in the future. Happy camping  :D .
