Hi.
I put this post in the wrong spot and don't know how to fix it. I wondered why no one responded. Well maybe because it's in a campground review!
How can I fix this and get back on track.
Sorry to confuse you all but Im confused!
 Bob

Unfortunately, I don't have any of my super-secret moderator powers in this forum.  E-mail brainpause (Larry) or admin and ask them to move this thread to the appropriate forum.  They'll appreciate that you didn't post the question in every forum instead.  :)

I thank you for quick answer to my misuse of a forum! Still learning and probably will for some time to come. I figured that I should not have started just listing it every where! When a problem evoles, stop and admit my mistake and when it trouble ask for help.
  Thanks again.

No worries Bob. I'm happy to be of use to someone around here.  I mostly only take up space. :D

Lori,
What is the matter? Bad day! Because you do matter and the space that you take up as you said is important to you, to your family, and to people that you help on the internet like me, who you have never met but want to help! So close your eyes and think about some of the great campfires in your life. Ask yourself, why were they great? It is because you were there, having a good conversation or maybe you offered someone something that they did not bring.
You do matter and don't let anyone tell you different!
Bob

Bob, you are very, very sweet.  Actually, that was my feeble attempt at humor--I'm sorry to have made it sound as though I was serious. :o Rule #1 is to never taken me that seriously.  But thank you for the words of encouragement--you can give me a pep talk anytime.  :)

 Lori,
That is something you will learn about me, is that I take people at face value. To me that means, I read what is written and try not to make anything more or less out of it. I guess you would called it a general fault of mine. I have several!
I truly thought you were having a bad hair day and needed some encouragement. I really need to spend some time with each of you to know your true self so I can be better at reading each of you. But anytime you are down in dumps and can't look over your socks, let me know, and I will do my best to get back up on top!
  Have a great day Kiddo!
  Keep the campfires burning!

P.S. how do I get the "signature" at the end of each reply or post to come up?
Like where it says your name "Lori", then the DH, etc, The make of truck and model of popup. I keep checking the box at the bottom of the post where it say's "Show signature" but it dosen't come up.
I think there should be a class given at Pismo for the new people in the group who need help with all the in's & out's.
  Thanks.

that's not a fault--that's an attribute. More people should be so "faulted." :)

You have to create one first. Scroll to the top of the web page and click on User CP. Click on signature and create your signature. Then it will automatically be inserted at the bottom of each of your posts. :)

Lori,
Let the fun begin then! I have a poker face about humor. You never know unless you really know me if I am serious or not. So bear with my lite humor. I in turn will reach out to all of you try to join in as much as possible.

Lori,
About how many rallies or mini rallies happen every year? Do the big rallies always fall around the same time?
Do you have a screen room for your popup? Do you plan out most of the camping trips? Do keep a journal of the events?
Where did you find your towing mirrors?
 Bob.

Hi Freedom_5, You know something? I do rubberstamping too. I made my Xmas cards last 2 yrs. Did you find your stamps? I don't have one of a pop up but you should look in a craft store...one that sells yarn & kits to make decorative wall hangings of sorts (such as Michaels or some JoAnn Fabrics stores).

Hello,
No we have still not found our requested items. It is National scrapbbok day on Sat. Maybe if I spread the word around the room wemight get some response. We have tried the craft stores and even have my sister looking in her stores in Nevada.
We just keep looking. Thank you for the post.

Hi Bob!

I would estimate that the SCCampers group has anywhere from 3 to 5 "mini-rallies" per year, meaning that someone posts that they'll be at a particular cg at a particular weekend and then next thing you know, 5 other families end up going as well.

As for the full-fledged "big" rallies, the SCCampers Trick-or-Treat in Temecula looks like it has now become a yearly thing, since this year's will be our third annual. It also appearts that the Pismo Beach mega-rally we have with our Northern California sister camping club, Nick-Neff-Cough, or NNC for short, is becoming an annual get-together as well. NNC also has numerous mini-rallies throughout the year and they are wonderful at welcoming any of us southerners. My family and I will be joining them at Yosemite in early August and are really looking forward to seeing some old friends and visiting a new (to us) camping area. You may want to visit the NNC forum here on the PUT boards to see what trips they have planned.

As for your other questions, we don't have a screen room or an add-a-room--one more thing to carry and set up, and with all the stuff we already bring, we really don't need one more thing. :eyecrazy: We try to plan out which weekends we will go camping each month, so that my husband can try to schedule any work-related obligations around those weekend. Also, some of the CGs we like can only be reserved through Reserve America and they go quickly in the summer months. By tentatively planning the weekends we will be camping, we can hopefully be one of the lucky ones to reserve a spot 6 months in advance.

We don't have towing mirrors, other than the mirrors that come standard on our TV.  We tow with a Ford Expedition and so sit high enough to see over and around the PU pretty well. I have wanted to be better about journaling our trips, but the best I have done is post pictures on my Web shots accounts ( http://community.webshots.com/user/griffysmom and http://community.webshots.com/user/griffysmom2 ) I also have a Palm PDA program that was offered free to PUT members way back in PUT's early days that allows me to keep track of camping info. :) The PUT store has a camping journal that I have thought about getting for some time now. Maybe I'll order that and keep it in the camper so that I can make notes while we're camping.
