A huge 'Thank You' to all you folks out there answering my novice questions about pop-ups. Your input, coupled with the information I learned on my own, made my camper hunting a success.
I am now a proud owner of 2005 Fleetwood Resolute.
Actually, I pick it up Friday - they are installing the A/C, outside shower, etc.
The advice from you guys/gals allowed me to walk into the dealership with the appearance that I knew what i was talking about. I knew what questions to ask and at least think I got everything lined up to avoid last-minute surprises and costs.
Again, a sincere 'Thanks' ... see y'all in the woods!!
Sounds great. In my opinion the Resolute is a nice choice.
Did you get it for around the $ 7,500.00 you expected to pay from Peco?
I know you will enjoy working with these guys in the future.
Congrats on the new PU, and see you around the campsite.
The camper was $7500, but then I had to add A/C so the wife could handle the Georgia heat ($500) and the outside shower/water heater ($500) plus tax ($500)...
I probably could have gotten a better deal had I waited for another camper/RV show, but I needed (or should that be 'wanted'?) the camper sooner.
CONGRATS.....Happy camping :tent:
Congratulations on the new PU. I wish I had a sofa. Have a great time camping. If you would like to meet some of this group, the Eastern PU rally is being held in Cherokee, NC. July 10 to the 15th.:)
You will definetly enjoy both the AC and the water heater option. I love the AC for getting to sleep at night on those hot / humid GA. nights. Hoppette likes the WH for doing the pots and pans.
See ya around the campfire.
Good luck, and enjoy many a memorable camping trip with it.
