As Minnesotans who have camped at Jordan Lake Recreational Area - NC state parks ROCK!!!! They have nice big sites - with great fire rings!! Lots of trees and it's pretty hard to beat the state for natural beauty - historical sites - and best of all - the friendly people!!! (yes - we mean you Byrd1 and Skip!!!!)

Will NC ever put hook-ups in their parks? One of the few states that don't have any. Keeps us away except for short trips. You are right though, they do have some beautiful parks.

We had water and electric at our site. We were there in 2002.
