Have any of you done any business with a company called RV Add-ons out of Boca Raton, FL? I ordered an air conditioner from them a few weeks ago. It was supposed to arrive in 10 business days. It still hasn't shown up and I'm having trouble getting any assistance (or even an order status) from them. Guess I'm just looking for reassurance (or otherwise) that they're a reliable company. Thanks.

Yes, I did pay with a credit card and have already threatened the company in question that I would file a "not received" complaint with my credit card company if I did not get an immediate response. I'm giving them until tomorrow to get in touch with me or I'm starting the paperwork with my CC company.

If your having trouble now, what about IF you get it and u have trouble what kind of service do u think you will get?????? You can call ur credit card company now, and they will handle it, there is suppose to be NO charges made until merchandise has shipped!! I know this from a personal experience...

I've ordered from them in the past on two occasions and had no problems at all. Received the items in a timely manner.

We purchased our A/C unit from them in 2003. Had no problem with them what so ever. Give them a call, it may be as simple as their inventory is depleted and the new shipment is not in. They may not charge your card until the unit is shipped. Give them a call.

Good news! (for me, at least). I finally received a call yesterday from RV Add-ons. They apologized profusely and said that the phone I had been leavng messages on had not been forwarding the messages like it was supposed to. Anyway, they said the Coleman 13.5 A/C I ordered was backordered and it would be at least 2 weeks more before they would be available. The guy offered to send me a Carrier 15k A/C with more bells and whistles for no additional cost and which he could ship immediately, so I took him up on the offer. Hopefully it will show up in the next couple of days and we can enjoy the summer with lots of camping trips. (It's hard to sleep in a popup in the middle of summer in Arkansas when you don't have A/C!)
Sounds like you got a real good deal. I have the Carrier 13,500 unit and am well pleased with it.
